Community Emergency Support During COVID-19 - Sprouting Care

During the COVID-19 outbreak in July 2021, Cansy’s Garden mobilized an emergency community relief initiative, delivering 16 tons of fresh vegetables within just 36 hours.

The supplies were distributed to 21 relief locations, including shelters, charitable kitchens, temples, and community support groups serving vulnerable populations affected by the pandemic.

Beyond food donations, Cansy’s Garden also supported logistics and transportation for charitable organizations, ensuring that food could reach communities in need quickly and efficiently. At the same time, the initiative helped connect farmers with alternative distribution channels during a period when agricultural supply chains were severely disrupted.

This effort not only provided timely food assistance to communities in need but also helped reduce agricultural waste and support farmers’ livelihoods during one of the most challenging periods of the pandemic.
